Walter Duda 
With his first musical composition, Walter Duda received honorable mention in a nationwide scholarship contest sponsored by The Berklee College of Music, Boston. Then George Butler of CBS Records heard him perform at Catch A Rising Star in Manhattan and arranged for Walter to record a voice and piano demo at the legendary A&R Recording in New York City. Since then, he has recorded his music with many top New York session players.
Walter is both a writer and publisher member of ASCAP. He has formed his own music publishing company, co-founded an independent record label with Grammy award winning producer Jeff Jones, negotiated a national distribution agreement and achieved worldwide radio air play. He has performed in many legendary New York City music venues and appeared on Manhattan Cable, Cablevision of Connecticut and Century Cable, Los Angeles.
He has been mentioned in The New York Times, Village Voice (NY), Connecticut Post, New Haven Register and Fairfield County Weekly. He has been a featured artist (Jazzman.com), voted favorite artist of the week (SkyJazz.com), and included in the best of Cafe Jazz program (JazzLynx.net)-Canada's smooth jazz connection.
He has also been a piano instructor at The New England Music Academy, New Haven, CT and a published free-lance music writer.
